The field of psychology is considered to be one of the emerging fields in our nation. In our institution, the Department of psychology is established in the year of 2023. Bachelor of Science in Psychology is a three-year undergraduate programme.

This programme emphasize on the psychological, emotional and social well-being of the individuals. It explores the cognitive, experimental, personality and clinical branches of psychology. The essential elements of subject matter include a thorough examination of mental health, childhood and lifespan development as well as scientific fundamentals.

Eligibility Criteria

• +2 Pass in The Higher Secondary Examination of the State Board Or an equivalent Examination of any other board.

• To prepare its graduates for successful career choices and further academic and professional development through post – graduate studies.

• To nurture students to become intellectually competent through scientific studies of human behaviour, emotion, and thought;
• To transmit knowledge through educational programs, skills development insisting on their overall development.

FACILITIES

• Separate class rooms with Audio Visual Aids are available for effective teaching to students. A well -furnished and highly equipped laboratory with latest and advanced Psychological tests and measurement tools are available for the benefit of students.
• The psychology laboratory contains various psychological apparatuses like Muller Lyer Illusion apparatus Tachistoscope, Concept formation board, Trial and Learning apparatus, Maze Learning apparatus and Division of Attention apparatus etc.
